In the future, it is important that designers further grasp our emotional engagement with them. If sustainable-shared transportation systems for private or public use are to gain wider acceptance, according to Bangle they will have necessarily to be approachable, usable, and enjoyable. The former BMW Chief Designer believes the business model for the future of Personal Mobility will depend largely on the desirability of these products, not merely their ubiquity. And desirability encompasses strong emotional components.
