The twenty-third edition of the MID Master in Interior Design organised in collaboration with POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano.
Firmly rooted in the Italian design tradition and open to global perspectives, the programme offers the tools to address contemporary challenges, from sustainability and inclusivity to artificial intelligence and hybrid living environments.
The MID Master in Interior Design, organized with POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano and held in Italian, concentrates on training professionals capable of interpreting and transforming interior spaces into innovative, functional, and meaningful environments, through continuous engagement with the most cutting-edge industry players.
Interior design today must respond to the evolving demands of contemporary living. Sustainability, inclusivity, new technologies, hybrid functions, and changing human behaviors are transforming the profession and the role of the designer.
The 12-month course integrates:
Theoretical learning through seminars, lectures, and guided visits led by leading experts within Milan’s dynamic design ecosystem.
Project work, where students undertake five hands-on design challenges developed in partnership with renowned studios, simulating real professional contexts.
A three-month internship, enabling students to apply their skills in a real workplace, complemented by career-building sessions that provide practical tools for shaping a personalized and strategic career path.
The ultimate goal of the Master is to train Interior Designers capable of creating environments that convey experiences, emotions, and connections. To achieve this, students develop a range of hard and soft skills:

Develop personal branding, a strong portfolio, and career awareness
The didactic structure includes 11 thematic modules, the first five of which are supported by dedicated project work, ensuring a continuous exchange between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
