Scuola Politecnica di Design takes part in the Milano Design Week with two different occasions to put new talents on show.
Into the Salone Satellite (at the Fiera Rho-Pero, pavillion 22-24, boot E9) – the most important venue for young designers and school from all over the world, this year celebrating its tenth anniversary – SPD presents a selection of recents designs from its Master’s students: an inflatable case for laptop computers, a chaise longue holding flower pots, a wall paper collection add a touch of freshness to modern interiors and many other ideas to discover until the next April, 23rd.
At the Spazio Flaminia located in via Solferino, one of the most central and lively FuoriSalone areas, it’s time for a Flaminia Experience: a non-conventional revisit to contemporary bathrooms developed during aworkshop led by Huub Ubbens in collaboration with Ceramica Flaminia, cutting-edge company in the field of ceramic products for the bathroom. Seventeen designs are on exhibit, starting off from different philosophies and aims: researches into shape and functions, the recovery of elementary and natural behaviours along with innocent provocations to help people build a more conscious idea of well-being. Some of these projects, chosen by Giulio Cappellini, are presented with prototypes.
