Mayice is a multi-disciplinary studio with its headquarters in Madrid, founded by architects Marta Alonso Yebra and Imanol Calderón Elósegui in 2014. Their work combines handcrafted methods, history, and technology, and their collaborations with local artisans are a key element to their process. Light is color and color is light, at Mayice, light is one of the most important intangible materials. Over recent years, they have worked on interior design projects and objects that have been exhibited in design weeks of cities such as New York, London, and Milan. Some of their pieces are permanently on display at Rossana Orlandi Spazio.
