Matteo Ragni, born in 1972, twice Compasso d’Oro with Giulio Iacchetti, in2001 with Moscardino for Pandora Design, which is part of MoMa’s permanentcollection, in 2014 with the series of manhole covers for Montini.In 2008 he founded TobeUs, a brand of wooden toy cars handcrafed in Italy.He has received over the years many other prestigious awards such as theWallpaper Design Award (2008), Italy’s National Award for Innovation“Premio dei Premi” established by the President of the Italian Republic (2012)and the Good Design Award (2015, 2021). Alongside his career as a designer,he also lectures at various Italian and international universities and works asan art director and architect.
