Laura Daglio is an architect and Associate Professor of Architectural Technology at the Politecnico di Milano, where she carries out teaching and research activities in the field of technological and environmental architectural design. She deals with the relationship between design, construction technologies, and the transformation of the built environment, with particular attention to building adaptability, circularity, and environmental sustainability.
A specific area of interest concerns the integration between spatial configuration, construction systems, and technological components, both in new construction and in the processes of redevelopment and reuse of the existing heritage. She has coordinated and participated in applied research and experimentation programs in collaboration with public institutions and companies, addressing issues related to the regeneration of the building heritage and spaces for living, working, and education.
Alongside her academic activities, she has combined professional experience in the design and construction of public and private buildings. She is the author and editor of books, essays, and publications on the topics of architectural technology, sustainability, and design innovation.
