Gianluca Seta is a graphic designer, art director, and university lecturer at the Faculty of Design and Art at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, NABA, and SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design.
In 2018, he founded Studio Eremo, a visual communication studio specializing in identity systems for companies and public institutions, with a particular focus on editorial and corporate design.
He serves as art director for several brands, for which he also provides strategic consultancy.
In 2011, together with other colleagues, he co-founded the cultural association Officina Novepunti, dedicated to the preservation of Italy’s industrial typographic heritage. Through this association, he works on letterpress printing and the production of visual materials that have been exhibited in numerous shows over the years.
Alongside his studio practice, he has been actively engaged in higher education for many years. Between 2014 and 2017, he held the position of university researcher at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where he developed a teaching method based on learning by doing and on his distinctive approach to both artisanal and industrial production of visual design artifacts.
Driven by constant curiosity and a strong inclination toward dialogue and exchange, he sees teaching as a continuous opportunity to learn, engage, and grow alongside the new generations approaching the field of visual communication.
