Erica Petrillo is a curator with a background in political philosophy and social sciences. A partner at architecture studio 2050+ (Milan), she co-curated Open (Russian Pavilion, Venice Architecture Biennale 2021), Synthetic Cultures (Rotterdam 2022), Notes on Air (Istanbul 2023), de bello, and Fuoripista (Bergamo 2025–26). Independent projects include Case (BASE Milan, 2024), Babel and Houses: Homes (Video Sound Art Festival 2023–24), and Environmentalism Without Politics is Gardening (ADI Museum, 2022). Former MoMA R&D Fellow (NY) and Triennale Milano curator (2019), she teaches a theory class centered on the commons at IED Milan and, with 2050+, the design studio ADS8 – Sport Stories at the Royal College of Art in London. She holds degrees from Cambridge, Università Statale di Milano, and Maastricht.
