BALANCE is an international architecture studio based in Turin.
It is among the participants in the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021. In 2023 they won the BigMat Award “NATIONAL PRIZE ARCHITECTURE ITALY BMIAA’23”, in 2022 they won the “Young Talent of Italian Architecture 2022” awarded by the National Council of Architects CNAPPC.
Since 2011 they have worked in the field of Architecture, Workspaces, Big Exhibitions and Urban Planning. The projects are published in the most important national and international magazines including “Architectural Review”, “Arquitectura Viva”, “Detail”, “Domus”, “The Plan”, “Abitare”, “Platform”, “World Architecture”.
BALANCE has exhibited and presented its projects in Turin, Milan, Brescia, Venice, Rome, Selinunte, Paris, New York, Ljubljana, Kyoto, Tirana, Tashkent.
At the moment the studio is made up of Alberto Lessan, Jacopo Bracco, Giorgio Salza, Giulia Barbero, Alejandra Mora, Eudes Margaria, Claudio Carrieri.
Alberto Lessan and Jacopo Bracco teach Architectural Design at the Polytechnic of Milan, the Polytechnic of Turin and IAAD Turin.
BALANCE firmly believes that Architecture is the assembly and composition of elements and functions in three dimensions, through the plastic organization of primary materials.
