Co-founder and co-director of Krisis Publishing, an independent publishing and curatorial platform dealing with media studies, politics of representation and visual culture. After graduating in Philosophy from the University of Padova, he obtained a postgraduate degree in Visual and Multimedia Communications (Iuav University of Venice). In 2017 he completed a PhD in design at the Iuav Doctoral School.
From 2018 to 2024 he was a researcher and lecturer at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, Faculty of Design and Art, where he worked on speculative practices and the production of visual knowledge forms. Since 2024 he has been a research fellow at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano and teaches Visual Design Methodology at Raffles Design Insitute (Milan).
His research currently deals with the concept of the ‘operational image’, the role that this new type of visual representation is assuming in the contemporary social, cultural and political landscape, and its historical origins.
