In 1989, together with other partners, he founded Edizioni Lithos in Como. He is currently the president of Associazione Lithos.
He has always cultivated interests and passions for graphic design and art publishing. In the early 1990s, he began an intense and significant collaboration with Ettore Sottsass, which led to the conception and production of a series of author books (original artworks and artist books) involving architects/designers, artists, and poets. These works aimed to represent aspects of contemporary culture that were typically undocumented, capturing insights beyond their known works—where observations not only graphical but also addressing the omnipresent mystery of existence could be expressed on paper. This reflected a poetic vision of architecture/design as a drawing of life itself.
