Luciano Perondi, research professor and information designer, is the director of the ISIA Institute in Urbino.
In his book Sinsemie. Scritture nello spazio (Synsemia. Writings in the space) published in 2012 by Stampa Alternativa, Perondi translates the common definition of Information Design into Synsemia as a «conscious and responsive disposition of writing elements in the space with the aim to communicate throught possible space configurations and additional visual elements, univocally and following a regular practice».
