Bachelor’s programmes
A 20% discount on the first-year tuition fee is available for all Bachelor’s programmes.
Master of Arts
A 20% discount on the total tuition fee is available for the 16-month Master of Arts programmes taught in English.
Discounts cannot be combined with other ongoing discounts or financial aid.
Payment by installments is always an option.
Every academic year, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design offers financial aid to its most promising young designers. Financial aid is available exclusively for Master programmes and is awarded on the basis of a motivation letter and a portfolio review.
Calls for applications will be published in March 2027. In addition to scholarships, SPD offers a range of financial aid opportunities developed in collaboration with the partner companies that contribute to its Master programmes.
Please note: the discount applies only to the Advanced Practice programme, is not available for Master programmes taught in Italian and cannot be combined with other ongoing discounts or financial aid. Instalment payment plans are available for all programmes.
Invite a friend to enrol at SPD with our Bring a Friend promotion, you both receive a €700 discount, valid for all courses.
The discount applies regardless of your year of enrolment: you can take advantage of it whether you are already an SPD student or you are enrolling together with a friend.

SPD supports the most talented Italian students in their educational journey. For this reason, it offers financial aid dedicated to Italian candidates enrolling in Master of Arts programmes taught in English.
Students who graduated with a final mark between 105 and 110 receive a 25% discount on the tuition fee; those who graduated with 110 cum laude are entitled to a 30% discount.
No separate application is required: eligibility is assessed during the selection process.

SPD students can count on financial support designed by Intesa Sanpaolo to enable them to expand their skills. “Per Merito” is a loan that any student residing in Italy can obtain on the sole condition of being in good standing with their chosen course of study and requires no collateral. The loan will be disbursed starting in June of the first year, following the achievement of at least 20 educational credits.
“By Merit” allows you to meet tuition fees, purchase of educational materials, housing expenses, and anything else you need to have peace of mind about your course of study. And students have no obligation to report these expenses.
At the end of the studies, a 24-month “bridge period” is activated, during which the student will not receive any more disbursements, but will not yet have to repay anything.
Repayment takes place over a maximum period of 30 years; in case of early repayment there are no additional costs.
The rate is fixed and defined at the time of underwriting.
All interest is paid back by Intesa Sanpaolo to the Fund for Impact, the fund created for groups with difficulties in accessing credit and education.

PLEASE NOTE:
Students who wish to apply for the Merit Loan must possess residency in Italy.
Once the bank confirms the release of the loan, disbursements are made in semi-annual tranches and not concurrently with the SPD maturities.
SPD does not have any other arrangements with the bank other than those listed in the Merit Loan Guide.
