On December 6th the light installations designed by both professional and design students from the most important Universities and academies in town – with SPD also Domus Academy, Ied, Naba and Politecnico di Milano – will be inaugurated and will be visible in various milanese location, transforming the city into an open-air stage for a light show. In the school/universities categories SPD students were awarded with five out of the eleven prizes by a jury including renowned personalities such as Davide Rampello, President of the Triennale di Milano, Arch. Stefano Boeri, Abitare magazine director, Piero Castiglioni, famous lighting designer.
This amazing result marks the outstanding level reached by the students under the guidance of Huub Ubbens, project supervisor for SPD. Four of them have been set up in highly symbolic and vibrant areas of the city such as the Colonne di San Lorenzo or along the Naviglio Grande canal and can be enjoyed every night starting from 6 p.m.
